Research sketches - I've been given a lot of brushes to play with, along with the instruction to make a movie poster. Since I had just read Driver (the short novel -150 pages- behind the movie), I wanted to make a Driver tribute poster. But since we didn't want to run into any legal troubles with the copyright police, we switched our interest to a fake movie poster.

Coincidentally, I've been listening to that great roundtable interview of movie directors (Quentin Tarantino, Ben Affleck, Ang Lee, Tom Hooper, David O. Russell, and Gus Van Sant).

I got the perfect excuse right there to make a Grindhouse-style poster. I came across some serious awesomeness during my research phase (#1, #2, #3, and #4).

Carsploitation IS a thing after all. So I came up with this vaguely chase/road trip related title, and looked at a few stock photos for inspiration (#1, #2, and #3).
